A Series — frequently asked questions

AL800 runs 3 years at one position upload per day and AL300 up to 5 years. Because the radios sleep between reports, real deployments at 1–4 updates per day typically see the full rated service life across the battery-powered lifetime of the device.

AL300 is explosion-proof certified for atmospheres with flammable gas or dust — chemical, oil & gas, mining and certain pharmaceutical logistics. AL800 covers the same tracking job wherever hazardous-area certification is not required.

Yes. Both models are rated from -40°C to +60°C ambient, so they keep reporting inside blast freezers, cold rooms and winter yards without derating.

Devices upload over 4G using open MQTT / HTTPS protocols with documented payload formats. Point them at your server or AOVX Cloud; if you run a custom protocol, our firmware team adapts the reporting format to match.
