E Series — frequently asked questions

EB200 tags stream over BLE to an AOVX gateway, an existing BLE-capable access point or a smartphone app. EB100 beacons are scanned the same way — pick whichever infrastructure you already have.

EB100 is the lowest-cost beacon: printable label form factor, ~3 months of battery at a 3-second transmit interval, ideal for high-volume inventory labeling. EB200 is the logging tag: 2-year battery, 60,000-record memory and a -30°C to +60°C operating range for continuous temperature compliance.

Gateways push readings to AOVX Cloud or your own server over MQTT / HTTPS with open REST APIs — so temperature records, alerts and reports flow straight into your WMS, ERP or QA workflow.

EB200 keeps logging locally into its 60,000-record memory; buffered history syncs automatically once the gateway or connection is back, so compliance records stay complete.
