G Series — frequently asked questions

GL700 is the low-cost single-use logger with an airline-safe alkaline battery and 90-day life. GL700 Pro and GL700 Max are rechargeable, lithium-free models rated to -30°C for multi-trip use — both add NFC phone readout, NTC & PT1000 probe support and BLE scan; the Max additionally has GPS positioning.

Yes. GL700 runs on a non-lithium alkaline battery and GL700 Pro / Max on non-lithium rechargeable Ni-MH cells, so they are accepted on passenger and cargo aircraft. GL110 contains a lithium-polymer cell — check your carrier’s rules for lithium-powered devices.

GL700 is designed for single use and ships at the lowest cost per shipment. GL700 Pro, GL700 Max and GL110 are rechargeable multi-trip devices: charge, configure and deploy them again across hundreds of lanes.

Yes. Data is buffered locally (15,000 records) when cellular coverage drops and uploads as soon as the device reconnects. Live alerting covers temperature excursions, shock, light exposure and door-open events over 4G, WiFi and LBS positioning.
